Text, patterns, and logos must be crisp and complete; relief details should be distinct, and edges smoothly finished. Additionally, electroplated layers and colored sections require strong adhesion to prevent issues such as fading or peeling.

 

Quality control is another vital step in the process. Finished medals are inspected for defects-such as scratches, air bubbles, color inconsistencies, or burrs-and verified for compliance with size, weight, and accessory installation standards. For mass-produced medals, consistency in color, pattern, and craftsmanship across every unit must be ensured.

 

Safety and user experience are also key considerations. Edges should be rounded to prevent discomfort caused by sharp points, and accessories such as lanyards and clasps must be strong enough to ensure stability while the medal is being worn.
